Infertility Awareness Walk & Fun Run

Presented by Sarah’s Laughter

Don’t Walk Alone

If you are walking through infertility, Sarah’s Laughter wants to walk alongside you—from realization to resolution—physically at Baby Steps, and emotionally year-round. Ironically, although infertility affects one couple in eight, many struggle in isolation. Don’t walk alone.

Meet Your Tribe

At Baby Steps and at our Support Groups, meet your tribe. Share your story. Find encouragement. Don’t walk alone.

Support Those Still Walking

If your infertility journey is resolved, come encourage those still walking. Encourage others with your miracle. Pray for those desperate for one. Walk, so they don't walk alone.

No One Walks Alone

If a loved one asked you to walk for them and you have no idea what infertility is, that’s okay. They asked because you matter to them. Walk, so they don't walk alone. Not everyone who walks at Baby Steps will leave with a grant or free IVF, but we want everyone to leave feeling the support of their loved ones, others walking through infertility, and those whose journey is resolved. So, we ask you to help us raise awareness and walk, so they don't walk alone.

About Baby Steps & Sarah's Laughter

Baby Steps is a community event to raise awareness for infertility held by Sarah's Laughter, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity. Our tax ID is 26-0380280.

Since 2014, Sarah's Laughter & its generous sponsors have given away 30 IVF, INVOcell, and IUI procedures, plus $151,600 in grants and vouchers. So far, we've had 21 miracle babies born or adopted through Baby Steps giveaways.

Sarah's Laughter uses Baby Steps as our primary fundraiser, enabling us to provide the following free-of-charge: faith-based infertility support groups across North America in person and (also internationally) online for every season of infertility, memorial services to honor the lives of stillborn and miscarried babies, infant bereavement materials, one-on-one counseling, an Infertility Bible Reading Plan on bible.com, volunteers who pray specifically for submitted prayer requests, and an infertility podcast downloaded around the world.

You can find out more at sarahs-laughter.com.

If You're One of Eight, You're One of Us

One of eight couples (or 12% of married women) have trouble getting pregnant or sustaining a pregnancy. —2006-2010 National Survey of Family Growth, CDC

Current research has shown that the stress levels of women with infertility are equivalent to women with cancer, AIDS or heart disease. —RESOLVE

Infertility can lead to repeated cycles of isolation and stress. If you're "one of eight," you're not alone. You're not broken. You're one of us.
